Nettle-Oat Chai

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 heaping teaspoon nettles
  • 1 teaspoon oat straw
  • 1 teaspoon rolled oats
  • 1 pinch cut licorice root
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 5 whole cloves
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 3 cardamom pods, cracked
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 whole star anise

METHOD

Combine all the herbs with 2 cups of water over high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Strain, let it cool a bit and enjoy it.
