Homemade almond milk

SERVINGS: 3-4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup raw almonds (drained after being soaked in water overnight)
  • 3 1/2 cups of water
  • 3 pitted dates

METHOD

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute (or until smooth).

Pour the mixture through a kitchen cloth or cheesecloth, and squeeze it so the liquid falls into a bowl.

Discard the pulp unless you want to use it for something else.
